Vacation Bible School CLLC 2008 We had another great week ! You can be assured that each activity was someone’s favorite.  The final worship celebration DVD and picture CD is available by the west wing narthex door.   We had 66 (plus 3 confirmation age helpers) students enrolled with an average of 96% attendance.  Most days we had over 62 students.  That is awesome with today’s busy schedules.   Enrollments included: ·        22 pre-school aka Buddy Porcupine Group ·        10 kindergartners aka Honey Bear Group ·        9  first graders aka Baldwin Eagle Group ·        13 – 2nd and 3rd graders aka Rocky Ram Group ·        12 - 4th, 5th, and 6th graders aka Raya Raccoon Group ·        3 Alpha (Confirmation age) Assistant Circle Guides It was great to have Buddy be part of our final celebration.  He certainly is one clever porcupine. J   We had a total of 28 volunteers that led activities and/or assisted each day.  Most had perfect attendance.  At least 265 people were part of the Final Sunday Worship Celebration and over 200 people took part in the carnival and picnic.   Way to go Susan Gaertner for coordinating the picnic and Carola Thomas for coordinating the carnival!      Offerings received for the week included: ·        $1650.35 for the Hands of Mercy Sudan Mission = Kid to Kids Backpacks   (We received $445.35 during the VBS week.)
